McNight

Gregory Finnegan & James Sutton.

Don't get me wrong here, I really liked McDrink and I wouldn't like them getting back together but I really do believe that McNight could be, at least almost, the real deal. McDrink was very cute and Scott is fun and adorable but James Nightingale is really diverse and interesting! The fact that he has been abused by his father makes him just more interesting. But I hope that there will be some love as well and not just abuse and James being damaged goods. So, right now I feel, still not being completely over McHay, I like McNight. And even though I hated the thought of Ste and Scott together when Scott first arrived, I kind of like the idea now. I want Scott to be happy, he deserves, because to be honest, John Paul just hurted him and used him over and over. So, in my world, I would rather like Ste to be with Scott than Harry. When is Starry going to break up? Really? But I still won't start watching Hollyoaks again.

Six weeks of summer and all the triangles

So, yesterday it had it's premiere. I don't watch Hollyoaks anymore because the love went away, but I still enjoy a good gay storyline when it's there! In this trailer it's obvious that it's still going on with both McDrink and McNight. McNight seems to be the official ship name for John Paul and James Nightingale. My faghag friend said to me that she would enjoy a love triangle with James, Scott and John Paul. Well, I always love a good love triangle (in soaps that is, in real life it sucks), but there's just something really painful with this and I just have the feeling that it is Scott who will be hurt here? And I just hate it when John Paul is the bad guy. And haven't we just seen it before?

Sarah, John Paul, Spike & Craig.

Yes we have! Back in the days there was a huge love triangle with John Paul, Craig and Sarah. John Paul loved Craig, Craig loved both John Paul and Sarah, Sarah loved Craig and also Spike loved John Paul, so actually it was some kind of love square. It was really dramatic and Sarah and Spike got their hart broken. Eventually even John Paul got his heart broken after Craig was a bit heart broken for a year. Everyone was hurt, basically.

James Sutton, Guy Burnet & Jake Hendriks.

Before John Pal got his heart broken he just managed to avoid breaking Kieron's heart. Kieron was murdered so... But even so, there was a small love trinagle between the tree guys and John Paul chose Craig anyway and Kieron was hurt. Before he got murdered. Too bad. Kieron was a nice guy. I kind of miss him. Even though I never prefered Kieron to Craig even just a little bit.

Stephen Billington & Lizzie Roper.

So, when John Paul came back from Dublin, after he had sex with Brendan, he dated Doug Carter for while (PJ Brennan), but he realised that Doug still loved Ste so he told him to go and get hin back. So there never was a love triangle there. But then John Paul met Danny Lomax and fell for him quite hard before he realised that Danny had a wife. Sam Lomax was a great character! But she did not approve of her husband sleeping with John Paul. Nothing odd there. But even efter John Paul got to know of Sam he still carried on with Danny for a while, before he broke it off. So a quite short triangle. But still a triangle.

Sinead, Ste & John Paul.

And then there was that awful time with Sinead, Ste and John Paul. I just hate how she wrecked McHay apart. They never were the same again... Girls falling in love with gay guys is ridiculous and in this case... He went for it and that is just so unecessary! A love triangle gone really bad.

Lockie, John Paul & Porsche.

Back in the good old McDean times John Paul told Craig that he didn't want to be someones dirty little secret. What I don't get is why he went for his cousin's husband! I kind of liked John Paul and Lockie together, they were quite cute, but Lockie was a player and there was never anything real there.

James Sutton, Jennifer Metcalfe & Nick Rhys.

Especially when he also, at the same time as he screwed both John Paul and Porsche, also screwed John Paul's sister and Porsche's cousin! He was just such a nasty player, may his soul rest in peace...

Starry vs. McHay.

I liked Lockie though. Another character I used to like was Harry Thompson. I just could go on and on for ages how much I dislike him now, but I've already done that. Several times. So let's not. Let's just say that I will never forgive Ste for choosing Harry over John Paul, I will never forgive John Paul for throwing Ste in Harry's arms and I will never forgive Harry Thompson for being such an annoying character! Ok, I might be biased of the great love for McHay here. But anyway, it's just such a shame.

So, let's face it Hollyoaks, it has been done before. Several times. I don't hate it, I don't but... Can't you just do something else of it? Why not a polyamorous relationship, finally? I don't think we have seen one since Kris, Ravi and Nancy. And at last, I just want to say: McNight doesn't measure up with McDrink (at least not yet), and McDrink doesn't measure up with McHay, but nothing measures up with McDean. But almost.

JP & James?

First of all, I have to say: vacatin mode! I'm not doing much actually. Sitting in my sofa knitting... Watching some youtube of course... But, before I went to Estonia I had catched up in Hollyoaks (at least what's interesting, and that's NOT Starry) and as you know I really enjoyed McDrink! I actually love McDrink! But, bak home again I was told that JP had a relationship rollercoster including both Scott and James Nightingale! Don't go there again JP!

Gregory Finnegan & James Sutton.

So, before I went away I was actually considering start watching whole episodes of Hollyoaks again but now I'm just not sure... Or I mean, no, I'm not ready yet. With McDrink together and Starry broken up it would have been worth it but now JP has a thin for James it seems and Starry is back together. What are you doing Hollyoaks?! I don't like it at all!

Gregory Finnegan as James Nightingale.

And I'm really split about James Nightingale. I mean, I love that there is a new gay character in Hollyoaks and I love a gay villain, but do I like James? Not really I think. I could accept him being with Harry and ruining the dreadful Starry but do he really have to ruin McDrink? Maybe James and John Paul would be good together but who will Scott be with then? I really think he deserves a great boyfriend! No, I think James could be with Harry so Starry would break up for good, McDrink would stay together and Brendan could come back from prison and sort Ste up for a wonderful and awaited Stendan reunion! I would love that! Because seriously, it's just ridiculus with John Paul and a James! Weren't there any available names or what?

McDrink!

I've realised that it's not unusual that I am not shipping the same couple that everyone else does. Lalle/Larias is proof of that. I just can't stand Larias any more but Lalle makes my heart skip some beats. McHay/Starry is even more proof. There weren't so many McHay shippr out there I've realised, but almost everyone seemed to love Starry, which I just couldn't stand! At all! I am not sad that they broke up. Normally I would now be rooting for McHay to get back together, but I'm not so sure any more...

Ross Adams & James Sutton in Hollyoaks.

Because now I am a McDrink shipper! I really hated Scott Drinkwell in the beginning for flirting with Ste, but now I totally dig hin with John Paul! It's weird how feelings work actually. But they are just so darn cute together! But, by the comments on youtube I can see that most people hate them together and that they still hate Scott. But I have to say that he is terribly misunderstood! And I have to say that I just can't stand Ste any more. After the awful Starry storyline he just feels... dirty! So I enjoy McDrink, I enjoy Scott very much because he's cute, I still love John Paul because he is amazing and I absolutely love Sally! The storyline about her being JP's father is just amazing! So, a McDrik shipper I am! James and Kieron have to be very convincing to make me go there again! But I know that James loves working with Ross so I'm not sure it will happen vary soon. And also, Ross apparenty came up with the ship name Scone-Paul but I think that sounds ridiculous. I'm sticking with McDrink!

And then this happens...

Ross Adams & James Sutton in Hollyoaks.

JP is on fire! Finally we get some quality John Paul time! I hope something good turns out of his kiss with Scott!

Father shock!

Annie Wallace & Nicole Barber-Lane

I have to say that I love this! In yesterdays, apparently, we were told that Sally St. Claire is John Pauls father, Iain Naismith! Or se was iain Naismith, that is. So that's why she had so mouch interest in John Paul! I wonder how JP reacts when he gets to know the truth! So, Hollyoaks, anyday know! I still can't stand Starry, but with this storyline, and hopefully a serious romance for John Paul, I definitely will start watching again! Perhaps even whole episodes! And I really do miss John Paul and James Sutton. He is just so divine!

JP on a roll!

James Sutton, Nicole Barber-Lane and Juan Pablo Yepez.

Last week we got to know this, that John Paul is to develop feelings for his mother's boyfriend Diego. I was actually hoping for that. I approve. But this week there's more!

James Sutton & anonymous.

And then this happens! It's said that John Paul is set to date new-boy Jake (the actor is still anonymous for us), and that seems promising indeed! I approve! But there's more!

James Sutton and Ross Adams.

And then THIS happens! I do like that one! I like Scott (nowdays) and I actually think JP and Scott could be somethong real. Scott is very missunderstood and he just needs love, just as John Paul, and I think they could love eachother. If I can't get Mchay, at least I could get McDrinkwell? is that too much? McWell? McDrink? McScott? I kind of don't like any of them, but I could settle with anyone. I kind of hope that JP snogs all three of them. He need some really good snogging! Yeah, every day I get a little closer to start watching Hollyoaks again. Any day now.

Merry fucking Christmas Hollyoaks!

Starry on Christmas day.

How could you Hollyoaks?! How could you ruin the best love story since Stendan? How could you make Ste choose Harry instead of John Paul? Because that it what seems to happen. I am so pissed off right now! I know that everyone doesn't agree with me, but I really think that Starry is the most boring thing ever! So sorry Hollyoaks, I won't love you any more! Well I know I can't keep away that long, but today I won't even bother watching it! So me, my faghag friend and James Sutton are really disappointed right now. It's obvious that James is a McHay shipper as well, if you watch all the interviews with him and Kieron Richardson. So bye bye Hollyoaks, I won't forgive you for this...

Happy 20th Hollyoaks!

Hollyoaks gays.

So, Hollyoaks turned 20 years! How great is that?! I guess it comes as no surprise that I am a huge Hollyoaks fan! Hollyoaks have had a lot of gay characters through the years. And not just that a lot of bisexuals, lesbians, crossdessers, transvestites and transgenders to. I guess that's why I love the show so much. That and much more! So can we just take a few moments to appreciate John Paul, McQueen, Kris Fisher, Craig Dean, Ravi Roy, Kieron Hobbs, Ste Hay, Brendan Brady, Noah Baxter, Doug Carter, George Smith, Vincent Elegba, Danny Lomax, Lockie Campbell, Scott Drinkwell and Harry Thompson. And many many more.

Gay Times front pages.

Let's also take some time to appreciate how Gay Times has appreciated the Hollyoaks beaty through the years. I think that Kieron Richardson is their favourite. Mine are Emmet J. Scanlan.. and James Sutton... and Kieron Richardson... and...

Hollyoaks beauty!

Ross Adams, Parry Glasspool, James Sutton and Kieron Richardson.

OMG. While watching this I have two questions. One: why can't I by this magazine in Sweden, and two: how is it possible not to be a McHay shipper?! Just look at them! Look att James Sutton and Kieron Richardson having a major bromance! Not convinced? Ok, look at this:

Beauty.

It is just so obvious that they do like eachother! James has been quite clear about being a McHay shipper and and actually, it was Kieron's idea to get Ste and John Paul together because he wanted to be a McQueen. I meen, who wouldn't? Well, that leaves Scott and Harry, and I am not sure about that, but I don't hate the idea. I like Scott, nowdays, and I like Harry so I am open for trying it. I mean, it can't be worse than Starry! Mchay ftw!

Hotshots

There are some gay characters in soap operas that have, how to say it... quite fancy occupations! Or at least occupations where I guess being gay is not a walk in the park. Police as an example. I imagine that it is not that easy to come out as a police officer. The story of Oliver Fish in One life to live tells us that, and I do believe that it is not just fiction.

Oliver Fish.

Oliver Fish (Scott Evans) had a really hard time coming out after years and years of denial, and as he feared, his parent were not supportive at all. But as far as I can remember his collegues were alright. And he also had the support of his beloved Kyle.

Menno Kuiper.

And then we have Menno Kuiper (Dave Mantel) in Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. He was the lover of the regular Lucas Sanders, and they even got married. But I read somewhere that Menno did beat Lucas up and then he disappeared from the series. I still haven't started with this Dutch soap, but it is my summer project, so I have to get back to you on that.

Nicolas Barrel.

And here's my sweetie Nicolas Barrel (Nicolas Herman) from Plus Belle La Vie. I just adore him! Both the character and the actor! A sweeter guy is really hard to find! He started out as a cop, and also had a hard time with his family. His collegues appreciated him a lot, but his father was a real homophobe, and we understand that Nicolas became a cop to prove his manliness to his father. Poor Nicolas. But it seems he enjoyed it anyway. Until he had to fake his death and work undercover. And then he became a lawyer instead! And after he came back to life and chocked the hell of his boyfriend Thomas, he continued working as a lawyer. I like the new Nicolas, but I kind of miss the old police-Nicolas anyway...

Florian Estève.

And speaking of men of the law, Thomas' new boyfriend after Nicolas, Florian (Franck Borde), was even a judge! But I don't really get how judges work in France. I think that he worked more as a prosecutor. He was very much out on the fields. But he was also a cutie and you can't really dislike him, even if you are Thomas/Nicolas-shipper. Florian was a really lovely guy. And also, a little bird whispered that Thomas is going to date a doctor after Florian. But I have to get back to you on that to.

Kieron Hobbs.

The most controversial character has to be Kieron Hobbs (Jake Hendriks) in Hollyoaks who was a priest. A catholic such. And as you know, they have a chastity vow. He broke that a lot of times with Jon Paul, deservedly, because later he got murdered by John Paul's half brother. At least he got some shagging before he died! And love, of course!

Kalle Laitela.

And we do have a lot of doctors. My favourite are Kalle Laitela (Pete Lattu) in Salatut Elmät. He is just such a lovely character. And he also got promoted to some kind of head physician lately. And he has got his fair share of homophobia through the years. His father, Ismo, was a real homophome back in the days and his collegues seem to be assholes! There's a lot of gossip and bullshit talk about him and his boyfriend Lari, just because Lari is a little bit younger. But that is no biggie, really!

Kai Seebach.

Another favourite is Kai Seebach (Alexander Gier) in Alles Was Zählt. He was working as a sports physician in the Steinkamp Sport and Wellness Centre and had a love story with the very closetered football player Joscha. He was just a really nice character and I do miss both him and Joscha very much! When will AWZ have a new gay storyline?!

Tom Seifert.

Another German doctor is Tom Seifert (Kay Böger) in Verbotene Liebe who used to date lli, and then dated Olli and then went back to Ulli, but after the character left the show. But we know that because we got a little sneak peak into Tom and Ulli's lives when VL had their 10th anniversery. Tom was also a really nice character who always wanted all well. From that point, I think he and Olli was very suibtable for eachother. But I am a Tulli shipper. Totally!

Dr Jo Helmke (and Olli).

And it seems like Olli has a thing for doctors, because after things went nasty with Christian Olli had a relationship with Dr Jo Helmke (Mickey Hardt). The sleazebag. I am sying that without knowing anything about him. But he looks sleazy and everyone who takes Christian's place is a sleazebag. And that's how it is.

Lucas Jones.

Last but not least we have Dr Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) i General Hospital. Well, he was a bit of a unnapproachable doctor, and it took a while for him to start working as one. He was whining something about not being able to be such a god a doctor as his adoptive father. Whiner. But now it's just as he has never done anything other than working as a doctor When he is not making out with Brad. Then it's just he has never done anything but that. But we don't get nough deama from this couple, I have to say. A slower storyline you have to look hard for!

John Paul McQueen.

And you also get a bonus. It might not be any status working as a teacher in Sweden (hich it should be!), but it seems that it's a little bit better in he UK. So therefor I give you John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). The teacher. And also one of my favourites. I think that John Paul has a very important occupation!

Hollyoaks, what are you doing?!

I really thought it couldnt get any worse since I wrote about James Fletcheris going to leave the show and the Dylan-tranny-storyline probably is going to end and that John Paul and Ste broke up and we all know that Ste and Harry will get together. And I am a fool to think that was it all!

Ste and Sinead soon to make little Hannah.

If it wasn't enough that Ste and Sinead slept together when Ste and John Paul were in a little bit of a kerfuffle and made a baby, now they also are together! But why? Ste is gay and he will get together with Harry so what's the deal with Sinead?! Why do they have to squeeze that in before the Starry (I guess it will be called that) -storyline? Unbelieveable.

James Sutton and Nick Rhys as John Paul McQueen and Lockie Campbell.

But what about John Paul? Well ofcourse he will start something with his cousins husband Lockie, whom he already has flirted with before, but that was when Ste was a junkie and before Lockie got married. But actually, McBell (which seems to be the ship name) is what I'm most excited about this summer in Hollyoaks. That could be a bit refreshing, accept for the fact that Lockie is married. To John Paul's cousin. Well it is a soap opera so I shouldn't be surprised. But me and my faghag friend are convinced that it's interns who writes the script in Hollyoaks right now. It seems so!

Annoying

I am really quite annoyed by Hollyoaks. I mean, what are you doing to all the storylines?! First this HIV business, then John Paul snogged Harry and then the dreadful Scott came along! And don't even mention the kerfuffle with Sinead! And then John Paul BROKE UP with Ste! Ok, I do understand him, Ste is really utterly stupid right now, and John Paul really deserves better, but anyway! And we all know that Ste is going to hook uo with Harry, and I hate that. It really doesn't rime well in my ears. And then this is going to happen:

I mean, WTF?! Why oh why?! Ok, it's James himself who decided to leave Hollyoaks, but why?! The tranny storyline about Dylan has just started! I was so excited abou that that I kind of hope that they will recast him. I mean, that is not that uncommon in soaps, and Hollyoaks is no exception. Both Darren, Cindy, Holly and Harry has been recasted through the years. I really do think that that is a too important storyline just to scrap like that. Please, Hollyoaks, please!

Kieron Richardson as Ste Hay and James Sutton as John Paul McQueen.

At least we can hope for this. And I really do hope that McHay will be reunited. I really didn't think I would like John Paul and Ste together but I really do! I think they are really cute and that they have amazing chemistry. I mean, if Brendan Brady will never return to Ste, John Paul McQueen is the second best thing. And also, I really think that they will meet under the archway at Christmas day. James Sutton has insinuated it, and really, it is served to us like they will. Don't blow this Hollyoaks!

TV Choice Awards

Well, to get over the shock that we, and with "we" I mean the faghag community, didn't get any awards in British Soap Awards we are now going to forward to the TV Choice Awards. There is a lot more fun than soaps to vote for and I have of course already voted. What did I vote?

James Sutton as John Paul McQueen and Kieron Richardson as Ste Hay.

Well, I had to vote Danny Miller for best soap actor, of course, because as stated before, he is the best actor in the world! The way he portraits Aaron. It is pure magic! But I am so happy that both Kieron Richardson and James Sutton was listed in the same cathegory. Yay McHay! That is just so great! And finally, James is nominated as well! He so deserves it!

Ryan Hawley.

And of course, Ryan Hawley is nominated in the Best Soap Newcomer cathegory for the part of Robert Sugden in Emmerdale. I voted for him as well. No one is surprised. And I love that both Robron and McHay is nominated for awards! The faghag is pleased.

So please go to the link and vote!

http://www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/awards/2015http://www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/awards/2015

And do you know what? It is allowed to vote more than once, so I can vote for both Danny, Kieron and James! Yay! Oh and I voted Hollyoaks for best soap. And still, no one is surprised.

British Soap Awards 2015

So, the nominees for British Soap Awards is out, and I'm complete and utterly shocked that Danny Miller (Aaron Livesy) is not shortlisted for Best male actor! As I told you before, he might be the best actor in the world. At least the soap world. But we do have some panel-nominees to be happy about.

Ryan Hawley as Robert Sugden.

First of all, Ryan Hawley who plays Robert Sugden in Emmerdale is up for both Best newcomer and villain of the year. He deserves to win them both. I hope he do.

Keith Rice as Finn O'Connor.

Keith Rice who plays Finn O'Connor, the guy who raped John Paul McQueen in Hollyoaks, is nominated in the Best dramatic performance cathegory. Finn is such a multi-dimensioned character and Keith Rice does him so well so it's a well deserved nomination. He was really great!

Keith Rice and James Sutton in Hollyoaks.

And speaking of John Pauls rape storyline, that particular storyline is nominated in the Best storyline cathegory. I can't enough describe how well written and important that storyline is. I really think it deserves to win. But I don't think it will win. Coronation Street always wins that one, with some boring storyline.

Ste and John Paul in the waiting room.

And speaking of John Paul, he also has a leading part in the storyline that will win the Best single episode cathegory. It just has to! Ste's HIV diagnosis was among the best things I've ever seen! The episode was so strong and beautifully composed, and I just have left anyone untouched. It just has to win. Otherwise I will be offended.

Well, there is no secret that I am a major Hollyoaks fan, so I have of course already voted them in the Best soap cathegory. I have voted Hollyoaks in all cathegories except from Danny Dyer (Eastenders) for best actor, in the absence of Danny Miller and Kieron Richardson. Go and vote you to!

Monday, 27 April 2015

Congratulations Kieron and Carl!

Kieron Richardson and Carl Hyland.

So, this Saturday was the big day for Kieron and Carl! Kieron Richardson who plays Ste in Hollyoaks got married to his long term partner Carl Hyland.. And what a wedding! I think about all of the Hollyoaks cast was there and they had no less than 11 bridesmaids in wedding gowns!

Kieron, Carl and their eleven bridesmaids.

Kieron said in an interview that he really loves brides in their wedding dresses walking down the isle on weddings, but because there was not going to be a bride in his wedding he wanted his bridesmaids to wear wedding dresses. So here they are, eleven bridesmaids in eleven gorgeous dresses! Among them we see the Hollyoaks actors Bronagh Waugh (Cheryl Brady), Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen), Stephanie Davis (Sinead O'Conor), Jazmine Franks (Esther Bloom), Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen) and Gemma Merna (Carmel McQueen).

James Sutton and Alfie Browne-Sykes.

If you wonder about Kierons onscreen husband John Paul McQueen, well of course James Sutton was invited aswell. Here looking stunning as always, with Alfie Browne-Sykes who plays Jason Roscoe. I wish I could have been there, but I don't really know Kieron or Carl, so it would have been a bit awkward nd stalkerish. It seems to have been the party of the century though!

The best moment of 2014!

Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley.

Yesterday this happened! Amazing! Emmerdale's Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley won the All about soap Best moment 2014 for the first kiss between Aaron and Robert! So well deserved! I actually voted for this award. But not for that moment! I just could not vote for Ste's and John Paul's wedding in Hollyoaks. So I did. But I am actually very happy that Robron won. My vote was a matter of principle, and I really think Kierom Richardson and James Sutton would have been very well deserved of a prize as well, and if I could have voted on two moments, I would have voted on them both. And now, I really think that the first kiss between Robert and Aaron, aka Robron, was the best moment. The most shocking at least!

McDean

I felt McDean deserved an own post. I love McDean. Even though I love McHay as well. But it all started with McDean.

Guy Burnet as Craig Dean and James Sutton as John Paul McQueen.

It is a quite classic storyline with two troubled teenagers who becomes friends and does everything for eachother. They do everything from get into eachothers fights to dates two best girlfriends. Craig Dean, who is played by Guy Burnet, is dating Sarah Barnes and they have a quite stable relationship for som time. John Paul on the other hand, who we all know is a closeted gay is dating Hannah Ashworth, who is quite a goose actually. Very wimpy indeed. They are a bit on-and-off, because John Paul is not really enjoing the relationship, with all that implies (snogging and sex), because he is really in love with his best friend Craig. He actually tells him at one time because he can't bear it anymore, which leads to a bit of knot of the thread for his and Craig's friendship. They are also a bit on-and-off actually.

The first kiss.

But the strong friendship leads to a drunken kiss at a party which Hannah sees, and you can only imagine the rest. John Paul is actually wrongly to take the blame for the kiss because he is gay, but it is so obvious that it is Craig who kisses him. Well well...

Tom Vaughan as Spike and James Sutton as John Paul.

Nothing really happens though, cause Craig still dates Sarah and Johhn Paul meets his first boyfriend Spike, played by Tom Vaughan. I kind of like Spike. He s a nice guy. But Craig doesn't really like him and Hannah absolutely hates him! For no reason! But Craig is a bit jealous and it all leads up to him not being able to resist John Paul anymore, so they end up having sex. All on Craig's initiative.

Craig and John Paul after their first time.

Of course, Craig has a bit hard to handle what happened, and he seems a bit regretful. But it doesn't take long before the both has a secret relationship. But Craig's problem is he loves both John Paul and Sarah, and he is not able to choose. At last, he does choose John Paul theoreticly, but in practice. It goes so far as that Craig and Sarah gets engaged and John Paul makes her find out about him and Craig on their engagement party. And mayhem is on.

Craig and John Paul.

But it turns out well, because Craig is happy with his "choice" and he asks John Paul to move to Dublin with him, where he is going to study. But of course, no happiness lasts in Hollyoaks, John Paul doubts that Craig really love him because he can't show affection in public and he dumps him on the airport. It is all very sad. Craig gets to go to Dublin himself.

James Sutton and Jake Hendriks.

Back home in Hollyoaks, John Paul starts to have a secret relationship with the local priest Kieron Hobbs (Jake Hendriks). What's so shocking about that you might ask, but Kieron is a catholic priest and you all know about the chastity vow. Kieron is a quite nice man and a fun character, even though he is a priest, but he is quite boring as a bofriend I think. I mean, he is not Craig. But Craig comes back and John Pauls half brother Niall (long story) kills Kieron and John Paul has a hard time delaing with that. He even decides not to go with Craigto Dublin like he promised, because he is tormented with guilt. And he actually loved Kieron...

The sunset ending.

But John Paul changes his mind in the last minute and meets up with Craig at the train station and they get their sunset ending at last. And it could have ended like that. But it didn't. James Sutton went to Emmerdale for a while, but he had the good taste of returning to Hollyoaks after some years. Guy Burnet didn't so the story was told that Craig left John Paul just about as their baby (Matthew) was about to be born and John Paul slept with Brendan, dated Doug for a while, was Danny's dirty secret for a while before he ended up with Ste. And there we are now in a very messy HIV-storyline. I love John Paul and Ste together, and I really am a McHay shipper, but I am also a McDean shipper. But I've told you that before.

I really like the McDean storyline though. The story has just the right amount of agony as I like, and the actors, especially James Sutton, are brilliant! But Craig is straight though. He just fell i love with John Paul, an I guess it was expected that the love story would end. Sad though. And if fthe writers would like to reunite McDean in case of James Sutton and/or Kieron Richardson who plays Ste decieds to leave the show, I wouldn't be disappointed. Providing that also Stendan would be reunited of course. Beacause I am both a McDean, McHay and a Stendan shipper, and a sunset ending with any of the couples would make me satisfied. Or all of them, in some kind of poly relationship would do as well.
