Meet Aaron Dingle!

So, it's finally official! There's no Aaron Livesy no more, there's just Aaron Dingle. I can really understand why Aaron changed his name from his pervy fathers name. And I don't even think it will take any time to get used to it. But Aaron's name change got me thinking about if there's any other gays who changed their last name...

The only one I got to think of is Ste who changed from Hay to McQueen when he got married to John Paul. And as far as I know he hasn't changed back. We know that Harry booked a hotel room or something in his and Mr McQueen's name and everyone thought it was John Paul and I haven't heard anything about any divorce. I really wonder how they are going to pull the storyline with Scott proposing to JP off... But everyone still calls Ste Hay and not McQueen, so I think I will stick with that.

There has been some weddings through the years in soap operas but I can't recall that any other of the characters changed last name. Can you think of any?

Some good news

At least Robron seems to be doing quite good. Obiously Robert has been staying the night and we can just imagine what happened there... I am really enjyoing happy Robron as a couple, and I am waiting for the first kiss in public, but I'm sure there will be a big Liv-cloud appearing. She is really annoying and she is clearly bad news. She is really a younger Aaron with longer hair. A classic Emmerdale character.

And there's also this! There's a whole new series for me to go out for. Ok, Holby City has been airing since 1999, but I haven't seen a single episode, and I haven't seen any of the gay storylines. There has been a Dan and a Malick, but that's just a whole undiscovered world for me. I don't even know where to see that storyline. And then since 2013 there has been a Dominic Copeland, played by David Ames, who has had some flings and love interests, but none of them really successful if I have got it right. But in June Marc Elliott comes along! Or Isaac Mayfield that is. I just love Marc Elliott! He was great as Syed Masood in Eastenders and I am so looking forward to seeing him in a gay storyline again! So I just have to start watching Holby City now!

A Robron break again...

I have to confess. I am on another Robron break. It's not that I don't ship them or love the storyline, but there's just so much angst that I can't take continue watching before I know that something good happens! And Aaron have been in so much pain lately that it's painful to watch! All the stuff with the awful Gordon and his annoying little sister Liv and stuff... I have just been waiting for something good to happen!

And yesterday this happened! I watched it a couple of ours ago and I just have to continue the storyline after this! I mean, how long have we waited since the last kiss? It has to have been a year! And yes, we have waited long enough. This is our reward. Finally. Can't wait to see how this develops! And do you know what? There's people at least as big Robron shippers as me and my loyal blogreading friend Shipswrecked. And that's the whole Emmerdale team! Social media is full of it. And you know what else? I really think that Robert is ready for this now!

Well, I don't mind if they do! It's about time! It's just so much misery in the Robron storyline right now. I really think Aaron deserves to be happy! Have we ever seen a gay gay Aaron in Emmerdale? There's always something tormenting him. So I am looking forward to some snogging next week!

April fool!

Well, this is my kind of April fool! Even though I didn't belive it for a second, I really enjoy the Emmerdale humour! I really would love it, but it is so out of character for both Aaron and Robert. But it shows that not just Danny and Ryan are, the whole Emmerdale team are Robrn shippers! Very good taste, indeed!

Oh. My. God. Danny. Miller! What an actor! If there was an Oscar for acting in a soap opera Danny would get it every year! There is no way to describe how good he was in yesterdays episode! If I tried I wouldn't do him justice. So I won't. Just see it! And again, I wonder how much locher Emmerdale will be able to keep him. And as a bonus I give you cute Aaron too!

Back in the business!

I am back on Robron! Right now I am catching up with the storyline and I am getting some Robron in my life again. My break is officially over! And I realised that I missed both Aaron and Robert. And Danny and Ryan of course. Aaron is having a hard time since his father came back and Robert is there for him. Just love it! What made me give in and start watching the Emmerdale-storyline again was this gifset:

Isn't it just amazing! I always knew that there would be some Robron again. That's my I thought it was safe to take the break. I am not regretting it!

The Brits and all their awards

The Brits obviously has a lot of awards and TV prizes. Now its time for the NTA-awards, that is the National Television awards. And we do have som favourites from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks who are nominated. In the cathegory for Serial Drama Performance we have both Danny Miller (of course), Ryan Hawley AND Kieron Richardson! It is so hard to decide who to vote for. They are all three so great. There is not many who can cry like Danny Miller aka Aaron Livesy or Kieron Richardson aka Ste Hay, but Ryan Hawley is just doing such a good job to play the villain that we love that we love for being so amazing, but we still love him beeing a villain! I would not want Robert Sugden to become a good guy. Never!

But I still want him together with Aaron for real. Even though Aaron is such a teddybear nowdays! I would really love to se Robron to hook up again! And do not say that there's not a Danny/Ryan bromance!

I recon no one is surprised to see that this years winner in the Best Soap Actor cathegory was Danny Miller in yesterdays TV Choice Awards! And it is so well deserved! Danny is just amazing! We'll have to see how long Emmerdale can keep their second Aaron Livesy. I mean, he will not be lacking of jobb offers in the future. Actually, I'm a bit surprised that he is still there. And of course, no one is surprised that David Tennant won the Best Actor cathegory for his part as Alec Hardy in Broadchurch. Don't they look happy and cosy?

I'm on a break

I am actually on a break from Robron. I still do both like and ship Robron but I know about all the mess that's been happening lately so I thought I needed a break. I actually like watching ended storylines the best, because I like watching a lot of episodes in a sweap without have to wait for another episode to be uploaded on youtube.. To episodes in a week is just so frustrating! So I thought I should wait a while before continuing for Robert and Aaron to be on better terms with eachother. because I do thinnk there will be some more Robron action. i do believe that Emmerdale have investet too much in this couple just to ditch them.

And I do have to say, Emmerdale knows how to make awful accidents! Less is more is just not their thing. Emmerdale's accidents is always one accdent, follwed by another, followed by another and every new accident is worse than the other. Jackson's (Marc Silcock) accident is a perfect example of that! I will never wtch that episode again!

Summer Fate

Ok, I know there's not much happening in this Emmerdale Summer Fate trailer, but doesn't both Danny and Ryan look just stunning in it?! I think that's proof enough that Robron is not yet dead and that there's a lot of drama about Robert and Aaron to come. I don't mind it being a bit messy for a while. It's a soap opera after all.

So, it doesn't look good for Robron right know. So, this is what has happened: they slept together again, Paddy discovered that, Paddy wrote an anonymous note to Chrissie about his cheating husband, Robert tried to kill but stopped himself the last minute and Paddy lives. So, this is what will happen:

Robert threatens Paddy, warning him not to interfere between him and Aaron. 

Paddy tells Aaron that Robert tried to kill him. Seeking revenge, Aaron tries to 
incriminate Robert by taping a conversation, which includes admissions over Katie’s 
death, but Robert is unsettled by Aaron’s questions and ends up knocking him out. 
Robert returns brandishing a gun, and is about to pull the trigger when Paddy arrives. 

Chrissie learns the truth about Aaron and Robert’s affair and prepares to reveal 

everything in the Woolpack. 

Doesn't look good eh? But to calm myself down I am trusting the thoughts of the tumblr account Our German soap gays and emmerdale_official_fanpage on instagram.

Here's a link to a screen shot where the official Emmerdale account actually says that the story is far from over, So, I am confident Robrin will get together again. As said, it has to be a lot of drama, I mean, it is a soap opera. A drama-less soap opera would be really dull.

Aarson

Before Robron there was Aarson, which might be the second worst ship name ever. The worst is Peeniss, that is Peeta and Katniss from The Hunger Games. That is just so hilariously wrong. Aarson is slightly better... So, Aarson. Aarson stands for Aaron and Jackson, which was an amazingly beautiful lovestory in Emmerdale which started in 2010. Unfortunately it ended as early as 2011.

So, in 2008 Danny Miller took over the part of Aaron Livesy after Danny Webb who had been playing the part 2003-2006. Aaron was a really troubled teenager back then. Now he is a quite troubled 20-something guy instead. Aaron dated a few girls, but eventually we started suspecting that he really preferred guys instead. He had a small crush on his best friend Adam Barton (who is played by his real life best friend Adam Thomas) and then eventually he met Jackson Walsh.

Jackson Walsh was played by Marc Silcock who actually already had been playing a part in Emmerdale once before. In 2001 Marc Silcock played Bob Hope's son Josh for a few episodes, and then later for another few episodes in 2006. And this is really hilarious. But I guess he made a really good job and was really well liked by the Emmerdale crew since they wanted him back. Marc Silcock also played a small part in Hollyoaks 2008-2009, where he looked exactly the same as Jackson I think.

Anyhow, Aaron was deep deep down in the closet when he met Jackson and he beated both him and Paddy up to keep his secret, which was really painful to watch. But eventually he gave in and Aaron and Jackson became an itemn. But it was never a walk in the park anyway. Aaron had lots and lots of anger within, and the relationship was crumbelling.The fact that Jackson was in a terrible accident did not really make it easier.

I don't want to spoil the accident to much but it was among the worst things I've ever seen on television! If you haven't seen this storyline yet, it will leave you speechless! Jackson is left paralyzed from the shoulders down and now the real agony begins. Let's just say: jackson will die and Aaron's deepest and darkest feelings will show by self harm and lots and lots of guilt. If you have seen the Robron storyline you will have seen examples of it.

I really do like thos storyline because it is really beautiful and cute. But there is som criticism. There is not enough snogging and there is just too much pain. I mean, how much pain can a person bear? It is well worth watching, even though it is really slow at start. But Aaron is a really loveable character and I really think you need to watch the Aarson storyline to understand Aaron and Robron in full. And of course, Danny Miller is brilliant in every single scene, and just that makes it worth watching!

Three's a crowd

I just can't wait to tomorrow! It is really about time for some Robron action! It is so time for some snogging between Aaron and Robert, and I am that both Danny and Ryan missed snogging at work! Ok, Ryan had some with Louise, but that doesn't count! So please, don't make us disappointed Emmerdale!

Well, to get over the shock that we, and with "we" I mean the faghag community, didn't get any awards in British Soap Awards we are now going to forward to the TV Choice Awards. There is a lot more fun than soaps to vote for and I have of course already voted. What did I vote?

Well, I had to vote Danny Miller for best soap actor, of course, because as stated before, he is the best actor in the world! The way he portraits Aaron. It is pure magic! But I am so happy that both Kieron Richardson and James Sutton was listed in the same cathegory. Yay McHay! That is just so great! And finally, James is nominated as well! He so deserves it!

And of course, Ryan Hawley is nominated in the Best Soap Newcomer cathegory for the part of Robert Sugden in Emmerdale. I voted for him as well. No one is surprised. And I love that both Robron and McHay is nominated for awards! The faghag is pleased.

Summer of infidelity

Well, that's what Emmerdale markets their summer as. And I do love the picture! I love the colours, the balloons, how the characters are placed in the picture. And I really do love Aaron and Robert of course. I love how Robert is in the middle and Aaron and Chrissie is on the sides. So when are Robert going to come out as bisexual? It's really time! And just because it is so fab:

But I have to say, I am a bit excited about a summer with even more of a domestic triangle than we already has got. So, more Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley to the people! I really think that this summer is going to be legendary with both this triad AND Ben and Paul! It can't be summer soon enough!

Over 'fore it started

In Emmerdale, there's a lovely gay character called Finn Barton played by Joe Gill. Actually, he is Adam Barton's (Aaron's best friend) halfbrother, and he arrived to Emmerdale in Deecember 2013. He had a fling with a guy called Simon, but that ended quite fast and since then, the only action he got was when he slept with Aaron when Aaron got out of jail. But Aaron never was interested so they didn't do that again. But then he met Darren and he finally got some action!

So, Nurse Darren came into Finn's life when Val Pollard went into hospital being unconcious, because of I don't know what reasons. Finn also met Paul Lambert (Matthew Bose) who is another gay Emmerdale character who curently lives abroad, but that is a whole other chapter. There is sparks between Nurse Darren and Finn, and they start dating.

 There is a bit of a kerfuffle when it is revealed that Darren is HIV-positive, but the lovely Finn doesn't really care about that, even though his loved ones does and aren't really that supportive of the relationship. Val Pollard even stages some harrassments which points to Finn just to break the couple off, and she is also HIV-positive! But she does it because she doesn't want her friend Finn to go through the same thing as she and Eric has. these certain events end well and Finn and Darren are back on for a shrt while before Finn gets tired of Darren but he is too chicken to break up so he and Val tries to make Darren to break up by making Finn so repulsing as possible. Eventually Darren breaks up with Finn, but not because he has chicken vindaloo all over his face or because he is a footboll slob, but because he thinks he is annoying. And that was that. Such a waste. Makes me feel like:

The only happy couple

Brad and Lucas really are the only happy gay couple in the soap world right now. Let's not even mention Ste and John Paul, Robert and Aaron broke up again, Finn and Darren broke up before they even started, Will and Sonny - utter chaos and the Germans still don't deliver. Well, we do have Lari and Kalle, but are they really happy? We never really get to see anything from them and I think that they will break up soon because the writers are boring and wan't to reunite Larias. Boring... But at least we do have Brad and Lucas, Brucas that is. And that is a recycled ship-name from One Tree Hill. But I never liked Brooke or Brucas, so I am gladly gonna use that for Brad and Lucas. Anyhow, Brad and Lucas are really in love, they have a lot of sex and at this years Nurses Ball Brad even proposed to Lucas! And he said yes! Happy times! But I still don't like Nurses Ball! I even hate it! Poor numbers, embarrassing playback and played spontaneity is really not in my taste. In Sweden we have something called "skämskudde" that means something like ashamepillow, that is a pillow that you hide behond when yu are ashamed, and I used that frequently during the whole episode. Even during the proposal. But I am happy about the engagement after all. Brucas are really cute and I like the characters. Too bad we hardly never see them... General Hospital are really stingy with the Brucasness.
