When girls fall for the gay guys...

Don't you just hate it? I mean, you can't help who you fall in love with but who would expose themself for the pain of falling for someone who there is a very very limited chance respond the feelings. I won't say that a gay guy can't fall for a woman, I mean we have seen it in Bob & Rose. If you haven't seen Bob & Rose? Just do it! Anyway, when a girl falls for the gay character, I really hate it. They just cause unecessary fuss. Here are some really irritating examples:

Olli, Christian and Rebecca in Verbotene Liebe.

Ok, on this picture Christian is actually kissing Rebecca (Jasmin Lord). Rebecca von Lahnstein... I really didn't like her before she became a lesbian. At first she dated Christians older brother Gregor, then she kissed Olli, then she used Christian for shopliftng and then she fell in love with him, even though she new he were with Olli. That is so disloyal! And she was so clingy and immature in those days. Didn't like her at all. She was clingy and immature at the same time as Olli and Christian had a tiff, and you can just imagine how messy things became! But then she started dating Miriam and became a little bit more interesting and then she went away in 2011. I didn't miss her. But in 2012 she came back with a new actor (Tatjana Kästel) and this is when it started to get interesting. She had a bisexual fling with Miriam as said, but now she completely fell in love with her brothers wife Marlene and this is when the magic happened. She was more mature and interesting in one episode than she had been in all her previous episodes together! So I have forgiven Rebecca. I like the new Rebecca.

Vanessa and Deniz in Alles Was Zählt.

Vanessa Steinkamp (Julia Augustin) has really changed for me through the years. I started by liking her because she was really supportive when Deniz and Roman started seeing eachother. Then she fell in love with Deniz and by then I really couldn't stand her at all! DeRo is a sensitive issue for me. I am a hardcore DeRo-shipper. If you come between Deniz and Roman I get really really angry. And at last death came between them once and for all. I have rarly cried so much... But I started liking Vanessa again. She is a real nice character, even though I can't forgive her for breaking up DeRo. But everyone deserves a second chance.

Carsten and Lucy in Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten.

And what is it with girls being really supportive about gay relationships before falling in love with them? In this case, Lucy Cöster (Sarah Tkotsch) fell for Carsten when her brother and his boyfriend was in jail! That is such a betayal. Thank gods Lenny had done som anger management and could be really cool about it. Lucy was also really cool and mature, and then she fell for her gay BFF and became a small brat. That was such a non-interesting storyline to follow. And it wasnt even a realistic one! The cruc´sh just came out of the blue and I hated it.

Roxy and Christian in Eastenders.

And Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) and Christian Clarke... Really? She, his best friend, who always was jealous of Syed were of course in love with Christian. What a joke! She always tried to kibosh everything she could between the couple. Roxy is a quite fun and interesting character, who even volunteered as a surrogate for Christian and Syed, but you can't really like her if you are a Chryed-shipper. And I am. Roxy is in the way!

John Paul and Hannah in Hollyoaks.

And poor poor Hannah Ashworth (Emma Rigby). She was a kind of beard for John Paul when he was in the closet and she completely fell in love with him. I mean, who wouldn't! John Paul is lovely! But he came out and Hannah's heart was broken. But she still couldn't stop being in love with John Paul and she did some quite weird things and really tried to get John Paul back even though she new he was gay and she tried to sabotage his relationship with Spike. She really hated Spike. She even had grudge to him when she met him years later. Quite childish. But Hannah was a nice girl. I liked her anyway, but I really didn't like her actions!

So. don't fall in love with gay guys in soaps! You will have all the soap opera viewers who are faghags, and there ate quite a lot, against you. That is so unecessary.

The Fosters

Jude & Connor in The Fosters.

Ok, this is seriously cute! When you read lots of blogs and follow lot of tumblr's and watch a lot of youtube you will get some hints of other stuff to watch, read, ship, you name it! A while ago I got to see these two cuties! These are Jude Adams Foster (Hayden Byerly) and Connor Stevens (Gavin MackIntosh) and they seem to bee in love. The Fosters is an ABC Family drama series with it's second season running right now, and it also has been renewed for a third season. The series is about a lesbian couple and their five children (one biological, two adoptive and two fosters). It seems like a quite cozy series and a cute couple like the guys above in their lower teens (I think) seems to bee something well worth watching. I have given up the thought about following every gay storyline there is, but this I just have to see! I will return while watching it!

Looking for a plot

Russel Tovey & Jonathan Groff.

That was the name of the latest episode of Looking. And it ended as seen above. For me it was the perfect ending of an episode. Kevin also said that he was completely fucking in love with Patrick. Ok, I am a Patrick and Kevin shipper. For me it comes natural because I think itäs obvious that they are in love with each other and I like Kevin and I don't like Richie. Ok, Kevin has cheated on his long-term boyfriend Jon and that is never ok. But weirder things has happened, people do fall in love even though they are in a relationship. But there is something I hink is quite weird. On many different forums (gaydaytime, youtube etc) people seem to think that Kevin is a bastard deluxe and has lots and lot's of conspiracy ideas about him. I read some thoughts about that Kevin has not left Jon (which he told Patrick just before he said that about completely fucking in love) and instead it was Jon who left Kevin because he is a lying cheat. I read another thought about Kevin and Jon still being together but that Jon moved back to Seattle and Kevin is still having a secret affair with Patrick. I think both theories is highly unlikely. But what intrigues me so much is all the hatred for Kevin. I mean, couples where one of the parties has an affair is very common in both soaps and drama series. It happened in 90210 and Dallas, and it still happens. But this seems to sting more than before. In lot's of series the gay character is still in the closet and has a girlfriend when he falls in love wth another guy and has an affair with him before coming out of the closet and is celebrated for that, and the cheating is forgiven. But not in this case. Lot's and lot's of people despises with more frenzy than the world has seen before. I can't help wondering, is it just because he is gay and are cheating on his boyfriend with another man?

Bromances

There are some bromances I really would like to become true love. I want to tell you about them. I have four of them. I would have liked to have five, because it's such an even uneven number, but I can only think of four, so you will get four.

Raj and Stuart aka Kunal Nayyar and Kevin Sussman.

4. Raj & Stuart - Big Bang Theory
First of all there's Raj Koothrappali and Stuart Bloom in Big Bang Theory. I guess there is some Raj/Howard shippers out there, but I like Raj and Stuart. They both were really tragical and patheticly, socially malajusted singles who bonded and created a really nice, and cute, friendship. Sadly Raj med a girl called Emily and and the bromance is now forgotten. Really sad because they were really cute and I think Big Bang Theory need something that breaks the heterosexual norm. A big disappointment but I am still hoping for a real romance.

Sherlock and Watson aka Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

3. Sherlock & Watson - Sherlock
Ok, comments are unnecessary. Thousands and thousands of Johnlock shippers around the world can't be wrong. I am not a hardcore Johnlock shipper, but I wouldn't complain. Some other time a will blog a bit about the porn...

Walden and Alan aka Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer.

2. Walden & Alan - Two and a half men
Ok, I am a bit more hardcore here. I absolutely think Walden and Alan of Two and a half men belong together. When I heard Charlie Sheen ahd left the show and would be replaced by Ashton Kutcher I really didn't believe it would work. I thought it would last no more than one season and that it would be really crappy. But it wasn't! Walden is a really lovable character and the show only got better when he joined it. And Alan and Walden has such a beautiful and mutual friendship that you just can't get enough of. And the last season was really divine when they took their relationship to a whole new level by getting married and adopting a child together. We even got some snogging! But I got really disappointed when they both started dating women again and got divorce. I was hoping until the end that they would confess to their relationship and getting together for real, but no. I was disappointed, but I am sure that they do love eachother the most enyway. Lindsey and miss McMartin means nothing when it comes to the crunch.

Ragnar and Athelstan aka Travis Fimmel and George Blagden.

1. Ragnar & Athelstan - Vikings
Ok, there is two reasons why I am still watching Vikings. One is that Travis Fimmel is so god damn good looking and one is the slightly homoerotical friendship between Ragnar and Athelstan. I really don't think it is a good series. The clothes are horrific, the plot is boring (fight, battle, fight) and the acting are just so ridiculous. Ok, they are trying, and I am sure they are great actors really, but the fake accents? Even Gustaf Skarsgård has one and he is Swedish! Ridiculous. But Ragnar and Athelstan... I am really surprised taht they have not jumped into the sack already. It's so clear that they love eachother. And I really do think the creators of the series should do something about it! We need to break the heteronorm in the Viking Age. The photo above is told to be from the first episode in season 3. It seems promising!

The BIG disappointment!

JO Weil as Oliver Sabel and Thore Schölerman as Christian Mann.

I am really really disappointed. So, Verbotene Liebe has come to an end as a daily soap but it will continue as a weekly series. And so I heard, Olli has made his last appearance in the show. And what a bullshit ending of an era! Really, Chrolli, Christian and Oliver that is, is one of the most important love stories in modern (soap) time I think. We all know Thore Schölermann left the show in 2012 because of the lack of interesting storylines for his character Christian Mann, and since then, the series became a lot more uninteresting. He made a very appreciated appearnce in 2013, but since then nothing. And the couple also went through with their second divorce in 2014. And seriously, Olli is no interesting without Christian and vice versa. No wonder the series lost viewers and got cancelled.

Mickey Hardt as Jo Helmke and Jo Weil as Oliver Sabel.

Ok, the creators of the series tried to keep it alive by giving Olli a crush on Sascha (Sascha Pederiva) and a new relationship with Jo Helmke, but it just didn't work. Sascha was straight and Jo was slimy. We all were just waiting for Christian to come back! But nothing. I'm asking, why take one of the most beautiful love stories of all time and end it with a banal sleaze story? I feel violated and insulted. At least it should had ended with the Olli going to England and to let us know he was reunited with Christian off screen, if Thore couldn't find time to join the show for a sunset ending. It my world it ends like that. Just sayin.

Christian & Olli forever and ever! And that's that!

Lovely Luke

Luke Newberry in Banana.

This thursday you could see Luke Newberry in Banana. And he was great as always! I think he is an absolutely amazing actor and he is such a sweatheart. I realized he has played gay in abot everything I've seen. He's gay in In the Flesh, at least Kieren's in a relationship with a man, or zombie, and that counts. He was gay in Suspects as well. And he was really great in it! He played a small part as a young policeman in Sherlock, but we were not told about his sexuality, but you can only imagine he was a bit bicurious at least. I've also seen him in Anna Karenina as Vasily Lukich. I can't remember anything about his preferences but he was Russian and let's not go there. I know nothing about Luke Newberry's sexuality and that is not relevant, but he really has been typecasted as gay. I don't mind!
