Winter is here!

I know that because the Hollyoaks winter trailer is here! And now we do know that John Paul and Ste will meet at Christmas Day. I am so hoping that Harry and his sixpack will keepp away. We don't want Harry to ruin anything! I really need some McHay again! All other couples are so boring. And there are almost none anyway. McHay for life! If there will no more Stendan that is...

Pen

Jonny Labey and Harry Reid.

One of my favourite couples are really boring right now. I mean, Ben and Paul,  Pen that is, started off really good, but then they slowed down. A lot. And that is so frustrating! The romance is steamy, interesting and contains a lot of angst so I really love it! But they have about one scene together in a month, and that is not enough!

First kiss between Paul Coker and Ben Mitchell.

We all do remember the first kiss early this summer. It was so hot! The comment to the picture is not mine, but I think it suits very well! Then nothing really happened for a while, just some flirting, but then there was snogging at the undertakers.

Undertakers...

Witnessed by a corpse! And about two thirds of the brits were outraged. I thought it was fun. I mean, it's just a soap opera! It's not real who hard we really want it! The woman in the coffin was very much alive and she was paid for lying there! Nothing to be upset about.

Paul Coker and Ben Mitchell.

What I'm upset about is that Phil Mitchell interrupted the couple earlier this fall and that the guys never got to the point! Phil is really awful and if it weren't for him I am sure that Ben Mitchell and Paul Coker would be an itemn long ago! It's such a shame! After this there has just been som looks and a lot of Phil-Mitchell-and-Kathy-Beale-drama. And who would want to see that when there's Pen to watch! And of course, we have gotten to know Christine and for that weare really thankful. But that is a small confort when we are missing out a lot of snogging between these two cuties. So Eastenders, just get it on with!

Kiss me slowly, Chryed!

Ok, do you like I feel that Eastenders are really really slow right now? Hurry up with Pen! Ben and Paul, that is. Well, in the meantime, please enjoy every kiss there was between Christian Clarke and Syed Masood in the years 2009-2012 in this fanvid:

Oh, I do miss John Partridge and Marc Elliott in Eastenders. Well, Christian shows up every now and then when there's a funeral or a wedding. So please bring your husband some time and please stay for a while! Some gay snogging might infect Pen a bit. I would really like that!

Hit the Floor will be back!

Brent Antonello, Adam Senn, Jonathan Bennett and some creator guy.

Hit the Floor will be back the 18th of January! But it is delayed. A lot. So it better will be good! But Jude (Brent Antonello) will be there, Zero (Adam Senn) will be there, and Jonathan Bennett is stated to play a gay character and the rumour says there will be a love triangle! So looking forward to it! And the trailer seems promising!

Cuffs

Cuffs cast.

So, a new British police series. I've seen three episodes of Cuffs so far and I like it! It deserves so much more than 6.4 on IMDB! It's well done, intriguing and the actors are great! And the fact that one of the main characters is gay doesn't hurt!

Jacob Ifan as Jake Vickers.

Jake Vickers (Jacob Ifan) is young, gay, freshly baked police officer who has a bit of a struggle at first. His father is some kind of chief, don't know all the grades but he has fries on his shoulders. And Jake is really cute! And he has a thing with a solicitor, and he is also really cute!

Andrew Hawley as Simon Reddington.

Andrew Hawley plays defence solicitor Simon Reddington who also is really cute. I is supposed to be more experinced of them both who kind of gets what he wants. I think the guys has great chemistry and I can't wait to see how this develops. There has been some snogging, and I am not disappointed! And no, I don't know if Andrew Hawley is related to Ryan Hawley. But how coolt wouldn't that be?!

Another Halo

There's just something about that song that fits so perfectly in a fanvid! Well I've never seen a straight one, but I guess they're perfect to. So thank you Beyoncé for this song!

Yes, I finally started watching Nuke! And I like it! Van Hansis who plays Luke are really cute. So, who are Nuke?

Van Hansis as Luke Snyder and Jake Silbermann as Noah Mayer.

Nuke actually made the first on screen gay kiss in an American daytie soap I read somewhere. You know, Steven Carrington and Luke Fuller never got to kiss in the 80's Dynasty. So the Americans had to wait until 2007 before it happened! So we have missed out a lot of male snogging through the years. What a shame! And also, the controversial storyline of As the World Turns also gave us the first ever gay supercouple in an American soap! They really are slow starters in the USA. And everywhere else...

Van Hansis.

So, Luke Snyder (Van Hansis) appeared on screen in 1995, and was then played by several child actors, then sorased (soap opera rapid age syndrome) a few times with other actors before Van Hansis took over the part in 2005. Somewhere between that and 2007 he also came out. But Van Hansis didn't until 2014, but that is another story.

Jake Silbermann.

In 2007 Jake also met Noah Mayer (Jake Silbermann), who he fell for almost imediately. But Noah dated Luke's annoying friend Maddie before also he came out and started a relationship with Luke. But Noah's father was like the most homophobic bad ass parent ever and shot Luke trying to kill him. But Luke survives and is in a wheelchair for a while before he was fit for fight again. And that's about how far I've come.

I've been told that Nuke is likeable in the beginning but that's there's a tendency towards dislike later in the storyline. Right now I enjoy it though. The storyline is quite interesting, the soap seems to be quite alright to be an American soap, the guys are cute and they have got good chemistry. I will come back to you about how I like it later. And please enjoy Halo the Nuke way.

Movember

Ok, I'm back. But barely. I still miss Lalle. This is a great loss for mer. But ok, life has to go on. And I still have hope!

Dolph Lundgren.

What you can see above is Dolph Lundgren as a läderbög, a leather gay that is, in the Swedish show Melodifestivalen. That is what you might think of when you think of gays with a mustache. But I have to tell you, there's not many ut there! At least not many that I have found. Here's my finds:

Emmett J. Scanlan as Brendan Brady.

Of course there's Brendan Brady, the super villain in Hollyoaks. The villain we all love to love because we just can't hate him! I absolutely adore both Brendan and Emmett. But that's old news. Oh I do miss Brendan! And his mustache! Best tash ever!

Murray Bartlett as Dom Basaluzzo.

And here's Dom in Looking. A funny story actually, Murray Bartlett had his mustache grow when he was in Egypt not to look like a tourist and to fit in and he still had it whn he auditioned for Looking and when he got the part they asked him to keep it. An excellent story! Dom is quite boring but at least he is anice guy. With a nice mustache.

John Partridge who played Christian Clarke.

When Jon Partridge came back for Lucy's funeral in 2014 suddenly he had a mustache! I'm not sure if I like it... Mustaches are usually quite creepy. If you have a mustache you should also have a beard! If you're not Brendan Brady that is. Even though I love Emmett with a beard! But at least we can guess that Syed like's the tash. Or at least tolerates it.

Petteri Paavola with a tash.

Ok, this is not really Elias but Pauli, and it's not Salatut Elämät but Satula. but Petteri Paavola has a mustache. He got that from travelling around the world. Perhaps he was in Egypt to?

So, that was all I found. Do you know any more on screen gays with a tash? Pleease tell me!

Tuesday 3 November 2015

I'm om sick leave.

Ronny Roslöf as Lari Väänänen and Pete Lattu as Kalle Laitela.

Due to heartbreak. This was the worst thing ever. My heart bleeds. Salatut Elämät, I don't like you right now. And Kristiina Pohjonen is the devil itself. 'Nough said.

There's still hope!

So, there's a new petition you just have to sign! There's still hope for in In the Flesh! Sign this petition to tell Dominic Mitchell, BBC, Netflix, Amazon or whoever that we, the fans will fund an In the Flesh movie! Or a season three would be better, but whatever! So please please please do sign! I've already done it! I would so support a kickstarter for In the Flesh! I need revenge when the G&T kickstarter didn't work out. So sign sign sign! There is a chanche that we might se Luke Newberry and Emmett J. Scanlan as Kieren and Simon again! And Amy Dyer is not dead! To celebrate this wonderful thing I will share some beautiful fan art I collected. Thanks to all the artist! You are amazing!

Meet Christine

Roger Sloman as Les/Christine and Lin Blakley as Pam.

I have to say that I really enjoy this storyline! Roger Sloman is just amazing as Les/Christine, and he looks awesome! As I told you before, this is a very important storyline to tell and I do think that Eastenders does it in a very good way! You can feel the pain Les/Christine feels when he/she's rejected by the one he/she loves. Ok, I do understand Pam to. I do understand why she feels betrayed when Les has told Claudette Hubbard instead. I do understand that it hurts that he has shared his biggest secret with another woman. But I have been told so many times that the hardest thing about coming aut as a transvestite, is to come out for ones partner. So I also do understand Les.

Roger Sloman and Jonny Labey.

Another dimension this storyline has is the interaction between Les and Paul. That is very interesting! He was also shocked, but as he told Pam, he at least want to understand. And how he comforts his granddad when he's devastated, just heartbreaking! I am so looking forward to how this develops!

And btw, english really needs a gender-neutral personal pronoun. In Sweden we've got "hen", and i Finland, Estonia and Hungary, there is just one. Hän/ta/ő is enough. To distinguish between he and she is just so outdated.

Jonny Labey as Paul Coker.

And btw, isn't it about time for Paul to get a haircut? I mean, he workes at a hairdressing salon so it wouldn't be a problem for him to get one...
