All summer there has been a lot of fuzz about the coming Starry romance, and the last weeks we all have been waiting for the very well written kiss Hollyoaks was going to give us. And yesterday was the day. BUT THERE WAS NO KISS! This was as close as they got. And I don't really get Ste. When he was with John Paul he could both shag Ste, kiss George and even shag Sinead, but when he is with Sinead he can't even kiss a cute guy like Harry without bad conscience. Well, he was high with coke when he shagged Connor and he was at least wasted when he shagged Sinead. But, anyway. I can't wait for Sinead to go away and I cant wait for Christmas day...

And speaking of anticlimax, last nights The Foster's! We were told by Connor's (another Connor) dad, the homophobe, that Jude and Connor were making out, without their shirts on. Why didn't we get to see that?! Well, I know that the actors are young and stuff, but we have been given one kiss and one pinky-flirt in three seasons, so far. And a danceThat is really too bad. I'll say, that to be believable, they have to level up a bit! And what will happen with that now that Connor is going to move away. Do not give us a meningless, prematurely interrupted storyline like Finn and nurse Darren in Emmerdale! We want more Jonnor!

But I think it is a shame Jo is not going to Oliver Sabel in Alles Was Zählt to. He could start dating Deniz and faghags around the world would be so delighted! I told you before, I think it is so crappy that the German soaps have no ongoing gay storylinesright now! Too bad Alles Was Zählt didn't take the chance there.

That got me to think about all the great crossovers we would like to see. I for one would love to see Finn Barton from Emmerdale together with Ben Mitchell in Eastenders. Yes I know that they look the same but anyway.

Or how about Harry in Hollyoaks and Johnny in Eastenders. Could we get Sam Strike to come back to the series for such a storyline? I would love it!

Or what would you think about Nicolas in Plus Belle La Vie together with Kalle in Salatut Elämät? I think they are the most loveable and kind gay characters ever in a soap opera, so I think they would enjoy eachothers company. I really really would like to see that storyline!

Or why not Kalle with John Paul McQueen... John Paul is the runner up for the most loveable and kind gay characters I think. If he is not tied with Nicolas and Kalle for the first place. I really do love John Paul. I think Kalle would to.

And speaking of gay characters to love, Kalle and Olli maybe? When I come to think about it, I really think Kalle would be good with any gay character from the soap world. Kalle is great, what even MissFinlandia says. And the possibilities are endless!

Over 'fore it started

In Emmerdale, there's a lovely gay character called Finn Barton played by Joe Gill. Actually, he is Adam Barton's (Aaron's best friend) halfbrother, and he arrived to Emmerdale in Deecember 2013. He had a fling with a guy called Simon, but that ended quite fast and since then, the only action he got was when he slept with Aaron when Aaron got out of jail. But Aaron never was interested so they didn't do that again. But then he met Darren and he finally got some action!

So, Nurse Darren came into Finn's life when Val Pollard went into hospital being unconcious, because of I don't know what reasons. Finn also met Paul Lambert (Matthew Bose) who is another gay Emmerdale character who curently lives abroad, but that is a whole other chapter. There is sparks between Nurse Darren and Finn, and they start dating.

 There is a bit of a kerfuffle when it is revealed that Darren is HIV-positive, but the lovely Finn doesn't really care about that, even though his loved ones does and aren't really that supportive of the relationship. Val Pollard even stages some harrassments which points to Finn just to break the couple off, and she is also HIV-positive! But she does it because she doesn't want her friend Finn to go through the same thing as she and Eric has. these certain events end well and Finn and Darren are back on for a shrt while before Finn gets tired of Darren but he is too chicken to break up so he and Val tries to make Darren to break up by making Finn so repulsing as possible. Eventually Darren breaks up with Finn, but not because he has chicken vindaloo all over his face or because he is a footboll slob, but because he thinks he is annoying. And that was that. Such a waste. Makes me feel like:
