Watching Eastenders and Chryed again I remember how annoying Amira (Preeya Kalidas), Syed's wife that is. Mostly because she's in the way for Christian and Syed! And she's quite spoiled. And married to Syed. And not Christian Clarke. And I wonder, is she the same character as Ameera (Tala Ashe) in As the World Turns? Seems like it! They are even called the same! Kind of. And she is in the way of Nuke. And married to Noah. Ok, she's not spoiled but she's not Luke Snyder! And there's just something really whiny about them! And I wonder, why are they always making the beards "charlies" with no own will? If the gays takes beards who are strong and have great confidence they will become charlies just as they start a relationship with the gays. Annoying enough. But I am glad Ameera never got pregnant. Noah at least came out in time and avoided impregnating his wife. But, thinking of it, I think Noah was the beard in that storyline! Well well...

Chryed again

After all he depressing storylines (JP screwed James Nightingale, Robron broke up, Paul Coker's gonna die and don't even mention Lalle) I just couldn't stand anything that is not ended because I'm not sure what happens and my next heartbreak will be. I can't even stand Thomas and Florian right now because I know it will not end well. I wanted something casual that I know will end well. So I started watching Chryed again! I at least know that will have a happy ending! I have to say that I'm enjoying it a lot! I loved that storyline! The dynamics between Christian Clarke and Syed Masood is really interesting and the actors John Partridge and Marc Elliott have great chemistry! And it's in english so I don't have to read any subtitles. I don't dislike subtitles at all but sometimes, like when I have over 200 grades to distribute I want something in a language I understand at least so I can surf on knitted socks on my mobile at the same time. So, I think I will stick with Chryed for a while. I am still hoping for them to come back at some point! But that will be after Isaac Mayfield has perform what ever he is up to in Holby City. Too bad Marc can't starr in both Eastenders and Holby City at the same time. I guess. Or maybe he can!

...but as long as Danny Miller stays in Emmerdale, or joins another soap opera, no one else will get an award in the British soap awards, or any other awards, for best actor! I'm sure of it. Sorry, Kieron Richardson, Danny Dyer and all the other guys. But I would be ok with that because Danny is brilliant, as stated before. Too bad that Danny and Ryan Hawley didn't get the award for best on screen partnership! I'm sure that they could get it another year though. Robron rules! And congratulations Danny!

I am so disappointed with the Lalle spoilers. Or the Larias spoilers maybe! I somehow knew that there were something fishy with the latest reunion! Ok, Salatut Elämät what ARE you doing?! This storyline is really unfair both to Lalle and Larias shippers! We are getting fooled and the Larias-ones are being pulled a bit too long! I really think the SE writers are lacking fantasy. Just get it on with it and don't let me suffer any more!

Meet Aaron Dingle!

So, it's finally official! There's no Aaron Livesy no more, there's just Aaron Dingle. I can really understand why Aaron changed his name from his pervy fathers name. And I don't even think it will take any time to get used to it. But Aaron's name change got me thinking about if there's any other gays who changed their last name...

Kieron Richardson as Ste Hay/McQueen in Hollyoaks.

The only one I got to think of is Ste who changed from Hay to McQueen when he got married to John Paul. And as far as I know he hasn't changed back. We know that Harry booked a hotel room or something in his and Mr McQueen's name and everyone thought it was John Paul and I haven't heard anything about any divorce. I really wonder how they are going to pull the storyline with Scott proposing to JP off... But everyone still calls Ste Hay and not McQueen, so I think I will stick with that.

There has been some weddings through the years in soap operas but I can't recall that any other of the characters changed last name. Can you think of any?

Another show cancelled

The Nashville cast.

Some time ago I started watching Nashville after a recommendation from my faghag friend. It took some episodes before I started to really like it. I mean, country music is not really my biggest interest, even though I really like Johnny Cash! But now I like it a lot, and it might have someting to do with the gay character Will Lexinton's entrance. I just watched the sixth episode of the second season, and now it got cancelled after for seasons. What a bummer!

Will Lexington, played by Chris Carmack, is a womanizerish country singer who is not out of the closet because of his career. The only who knows is his room mate Gunnar, who he tried to kiss. And of course his ex fling Brent McKinney (Derek Krantz), who he slept with obviously.

Well, I haven't seen any action yet, but I believe that there will be someting more with Will and Brent before Will meets Kevin. Because he will meet a Kevin.

Kevin Bicks & Will Lexington.

Unfortunately Kevin Bicks doesn't appear until the third season so I'm in for a wait. But what I know is that Kevin is an out singer/songwriter who is not up for going back in the closet. I also think that the couple will break up before the fourth seasons finale. So, no happy ending there. But I am looking forward to continue watching it. Too bad it got cancelled. Why are they only cancelling shows that I like?

And btw, Chris Carmack who plays Will also played Luke in O.C. I liked Luke a lot! He was interesting!

Ok, Salatut Elämät, you can't break up Lalle again! This is ment to be! It just have to be! There's been too much of this Larias foolery already. This has to be the end game! I can't wait to watch this and I can't wait to see what Missfinlandia says about this! I mean, she can't seriously believe for a future for Larias now! I love it! The picture in the middle might be my favourite of all time. Lalle is the future! They just have to be.

Yesterday I finally finished the storyline of Sandro and Claudio from the Italian soap Un Posto al Sole. And it was great! I watched it last year and got so disappoited when the uploader just stopped in the middle of te storyline! But then there's Cris Mac. Thank you for that! Other gays came in between but some days ago I decided to finish. And it was a happy ending! Can you believe it! Two in a row! And also, I saw a Valentines greeting from Alessio Chiodini, who portrayed Sandro, where he told us that the ship name is Clandro. Just so we know! And I read that both actors Alessio and Gabriele are open for returning to the series. Let's hope for that! 'Cause I like it! Even it they could have been a bit more generous with the snogging...

And I'm on some sort of mission! I've decided to try to finish as many storylines as possible! I just have so many going on, and mst of them are UFO's (unfinished objects). So first I took on Nuke, then Fábio and Nuno and then Clandro. The next storyline I will finish is Thomas and Florian I think. And then I guess I have to take on the iceberg of WilSon. I have a lot to do there! And I have to start the Dominic Copeland storyline! There's just too many! Fortunately I have a lonf vacation soon!

And speaking of gentlemen gays! Have you seen Vicious? It's a hilarious series from 2013 which has been aired in two seasons. And there wil be some kind of special episode this year as well. I love it! It's about Freddie Thornhill, played by Ian McKellen and Stuart Bixby, played by Derek Jacobi. They have been a couple for about 50 years and sometimes it's not clear if they love eachother or hate eachother because they are nagging and insulting eachother all the time. And it's hilarious! Ian and Derek are such great actors and I really like that kind of sofisticated British humour! And also, the character Ash (Iwan Rheon) is so cute! And a fun fact is that Ian McKellen had a crush on Derek Jacobi in Cambridge! How precious!

Grace and Frankie

I can't believe I haven't made a post about Grace and Frankie! Thank you Shipswrecked for reminding me! Grace and Frankie is an Netflix original series about Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) who get's dumped by their husbands in the first episode because of their long and secret relationship. Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston) finally have the courage to come out and be together And they are dead cute!

So, the series started last year and just a few days ago the second season started. I haven't seen it all yet, but I love this season as well! And there will be a third season! It's fun, witty, cute and just a feel good-series! The only problem about it is that the series really is about Grace and Frankie, and not Robert and Sol, which doesn't get enough attention if you ask me. But one fun fact is that Jai Rodriguez, the guy who plays Ritchie in The Horizon, is in one episode. So, do watch it if you want something adorable to see! And I have to say, I do really love Martin Sheen! I guess it has something to do about having a major crush on Emilio Estevez when I was a kid!

Fábio & Nuno

Cast of Morangos com açucar, season 7.

I've finished another storyline. That is the storyline of Fábio & Nuno from the Portuguese series Morangos com Açucar, and I loved it! It's not a telenovela, because there was nine seasons between 2003 and 2012, but it's quite the same format. This storyline, with Fábio and Nuno, took place in season 7. I am in love!

Miguel Santiago as Fábio Castro.

It's kind of a mash up between Glee and Fame, in Portuguese! Fábio Castro (Miguel Santiago) is one of the main characters and goes to some kind of drama school with his room mates Mariana, André and Paula. Fábio is a real homphobic biggot, who is deep down in the closet of course. He gives his room mate André Peiva (Diogo Lemos) a real hard time because he's bisexual. But of course, he will meet love and change a lot!

Carlo Malvarez & Migel Santiago.

He meets Nuno (Carlo Malvarez) and becomes just the cutest guy ever! He is really cute and funny before as well, but a bit homophobic. We can excuse him for that because of what he becomes. And really, the series is kind of censored, I mean there is no snogging between the couple on camera, but I just love it anyway! We are getting one kiss on the cheek and one on the neck, but nothing else. What's up with the Portuguese?! Why is it so hard for you to show? And the strange thing is that early in the storyline, Fábio is forced to kiss a friend of his, João Pedro, as a black mail (they did something reaaally naughty), and that we were allowed to see! But when it comes to love it's time for censorship! Really weird! But, as I said, the storyline is really amazing anyway, and Miguel Santiago who plays Fábio is just splendid! Cute, funny and he is a really good singer! So if you haven't already seen it, please do! It's on youtube and everything. Big thanks to the anonymous reader who told me about them. I love getting recommended great storylines!

And at last I just have to give some appreciation to the character André Paiva and to Diogo Lemos who played him. I love that character! He is bisexual, cute, funny and wears lots of scarves. What's not to like?! I would so much want a spin-off with him and Fábio! Right now!

And one thing more. Both Pedro Carvalho and Duarte Gomes (O Beijo do Escorpião, Os Nossos Dias) were in the show in 2006-2008. I would have loved to see that! I would have loved to see some more Portuguese gay storylines in general! Are there any more?

Grantchester disappointment

Isn't he just amazing? James Norton I mean? I absolutely adore him! And his character, Sidney Chambers, is also amazing. Kind, righteous and just so freeking good looking! You can't really believe that it's the same actor that playes the awful Tommy Lee Royce in Happy Valley, even though he's really good looking there too! But this is not going to be about James Norton. Even if I could go on like forever...

Al Weaver as Leonard Finch.

In season one of Grantchester we got to know Leonard Finch. He's the curate that no one else wanted because he's gay. Ok, it's the 1950's, so it might not be that shocking, but it's awful! But Sidney Chambers is amazing, so he welcomes Leonard without predjudices and it actually seems like he doesn't really care about Leonard's sexuality. That seems amazing for the 1950's! Anyhow, nothing really happened in season 1 but in the second season, which I finished watching yesterday...

Oliver Dimsdale who plays Daniel Marlowe.

...he meets Daniel Malowe! Daniel is a photographer, who takes questionable pictures, but he seems to be a nice guy! The guys goes on a date and it's really cute but Leonard shy away every time Daniel tries to kiss him. And of course, when he is ready for some snogging, Daniel has someone else there... But, there are second chances, and this series is no exception (Sidney & Amanda), so I'm really hoping or some Leonard and Daniel snogging in season 3! Poor Leonard. He was heartbroken, and so was I... Disappointed, heartbroken and a bit irritated.
