Deniz + Jenny

Kaja Schmidt-Tychsen & Igor Dolgatschew.

I haven't been watching Alles Was Zählt forever. Not since Joscha and Kai left the show actually. But from what I have seen it really seems like Deniz has only dated really wavy girls. Like Mel. Hated her. And even before Roman he dated wavy girls. Like Nina. I really think he has kind of crappy taste in women. But now it seems like he has something going on with Jenny Steinkamp! The older sister of ex-girlfriend Vanessa that is! And I have to say, I don't totally hate it! I still have hopes for Deniz to fall in love a man again, but if they are persistant of Deniz only dating women, I actually think Jenny is quite all right. Ok, she is a total bitch but I kind of like that total bitch! At least she is a strong and interesting character. I don't hate it. I don't love it, but I donät hate it.

Jude & Noah?

Hayden Byerly & Kalama Epstein

But what happened to Jude "turning straight again". There's seems to be anew guy in his life called Noah (Kalama Epstein) who he apparently met at Taylor's church group! i didn't see that coming! Maybe it's worth taking The Fosters up again? Jude & Noah, who apparently has the ship name Joah, has already shared two kisses and that's more than ever Jonnor did! But I think I will miss Connor though. Hopefully Gavin MackIntosh will make a jealous guest appearance and mess aound in the pot a little bit!

Zude cuteness

If you find it hard to wait these twelve days that are left until the Hit the Floor summer special, here's something for you. And you might need it because VH1, or the production company or the distributor or whoever it is that got the power, is really the most stingy thing ever! It's almost impossible to find any Zude out there! When are you going to understand that when people put Zude out on Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or whatever it's just for your benefit? More people discover the series and you might even get some more viewers. Or maybe you don't want that? I'll say: more Zero, Jude, Adam Senn and Brent Antonello for the people!

Hit the Floor summer special

James LaRosa, Brent Antonello & Adam Senn.

If you didn't know already, there is an air date for the Hit the Floor summer special. It's going to air in the 5th of September? Is that really summer? Well, not in Sweden. It's some kind of summery autumny middle period. But I hope it will be good! It didn't really end well for Zude in the third season when Zero was traded just as the love doveys was going to move in together and make peace with Zero's past. So if they are going to end Zero or at least give them a hard time, I will be very disappointed. But not despair! Remember that James LaRosa is a huge Zude shipper!

Bruno & Pol

I was recommended to watch the Bruno & Pol storyline by two people and... I'm not sure! I did not fall in love, that's for sure.

Merlí and his students.

The storyline is from Spanish series Merlí about at philosophy teacher who is also Bruno's father. The series seems really good, actually. There are interesting chracters and it's very well made. So far everything good. But I wonder, are there really any Bruno & Pol lovestory? After watching the first season I'm not sure.

Carlos Cuevas as Pol Rubio & David Solans as Bruno Bergeron.

Bruno Bergeron (David Solans) and Pol Rubio (Carlos Cuevas) is in the same class and has been friends for a long time. Bruno is a closeted gay and ballet dancer (yes, nobody knows that he's dancing) who has been in love with his friend Pol forever so it seems. They have a sweet friendship and an interesting relationship, but I don't know if this really is a love story. O, they had sex once but Pol states that he just wanted to try it. And I think it might be so. He usually sleeps with girls and he might be bisexual but I really don't think he is in love with Bruno. So we got a quite steamy sex scene but I don't really know what all the fuzz is about. And also, Bruno is really an asshole! He is a quite good friend and he has good sides but how he treats his teacher, there's just no excuses! I might be extra sensible about that because I'm a teacher, but... no! I just can't stand it! Bruno is supposed to be the main character of the students I guess, but I don't really like him. Pol is much more likeable. So no, this was not as good as I hoped for.

Iñaki Mur as Oliver Grau.

But there will be a second season so it might develop to something else. Maybe there will be a lovestory anyway. And there's also another gay character, Oliver Grau (Iñaki Mur), who arrives to the class quite late in the series, and he is openly gay. And seems really nice. So there might be something between him and Bruno? But I would actually like him with Pol more. But I'm not sure about him... Well, let's see what happens in the second season. I might be surprised!

Movie recommendations

I have a lot of favourite movies, but there are four that I have seen a little more than others. These five I used to have on VHS and I watched them over and over. So, I would like to recommend them to you. They are really good.

The sum of us - 1994

In The sum of us from 1994 we see a young Russel Crowe as Jeff who tries to date in peace of his extremely supportive father Harry (Jack Thompson). Maybe a little bit too supportive... But yet so adorable!

Russel Crowe & John Polson.

He meets Greg (John Polson) who seems to be something special but things doesn't really turn out as he thought. I don't want to spoil it all. But the ending is filled with hope and it's a real feelgood-movie that makes you warm inside. And also, Russel Crowe is so young and pure.

Bedrooms and hallways - 1998

This movie might actually be my favourite movie of all time! At least one of them. Bedrroms and hallways from 1998 is packed with favourite actors as Kevin MciKdd, Simon Callow and Hugo Weaving, and it's really fun to! In the centre of the movie we see Kevin McKidd who plays Leo who doesn't seem to have the best of luck with men...

Kevin McKidd & James Purefoy.

But then he meets the tall, dark and mysterious Irishman (at least I think he is tall and Irishman) called Brendan (recognize this?) and everything turns upside down. They meet in the hilarious mens group led by the wonderful Simon Callow which makes me laugh every time! And there's another very cute couple, Darren and Jeremy (Tom Hollander and Hugo Weaving) who has at least said odd places to meet. You really should see it!

Priest - 1994

This one is both beautiful and tragic at the same time. The movie Priest is about the Catholic priest Greg and his struggles. Greg is played by the wonderful Linus Roache who is just excellent and you really feel his pain.Of course he has troubles sticking to the chastity wov.

Linus Roache & Robert Carlyle.

He begins some kind of relationship with Graham, played by the wonderful Linus Roache, and that gets him into trouble, of course. But he is not the only one who has a little bit on the side, his collegue Father Matthew, does it to, but with a woman. But this movie really gets you to thing about and question both the chastity wov and confidentiality duty that priests have. But it's not a movie you should watch if you already feel a bit down. I love the ending though. So powerful!

Maurice - 1987

Another movie packed with favourite actors! Even Simon Callow plays a small part. Maurice is about Maurice, surprisingly, played by favourite James Wilby, who is a young student who has a little something something with his best friend Clive, played by Hugh Grant. Clive is not as brave, or maybe convinced, as Maurice, therefor he get's married, to a woman of course, I men this is in the 1910's. Maurice is confused and heart broken, but there's some remedy.

James Wilby, Rupert Graves & Hugh Grant.

Alec Scudder. Oh what a handsome boy! Well, you couldn't expect more being played by a very young Rupert Graves. I love Rupert Graves! And he was so cute in the 80's! Well, Scudder is cocky and forwards and where Scudder is the actin is. He's not just a consolation prize. Just sayin'!

Beautiful thing - 1996

Even though there's a lot of angst in this movie, it is a feelgood-movie. It leaves you with butterflies. Beautiful thing is about Jamie (Glen Berry) and Ste (Scott Neal) who are neighbours and goes to the same school. Nothing more. At least at first. You can imagine sparks.

Scott Neal & Glen Berry.

I love it! It's sweet, fun, dramatic, it just has everything! And a really good snog in the forrest! I showed it to my BF but he didn't like it and I can't understand why! I'm a little bit insulted... The movie actually is based on a play from 1993 which has been played on theathers in both the UK, Australia, USA, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Germany, China and Hong Kong. I would really love if it would be made in Sweden to!

So, that was five of my favourite movies. I have a lot more. I might recommend them to. And now I really have the urge to watch those movies again!

Vijay

Dante Scott.

Finally finished season 16, or 2 or what you called it, of Degrassi yesterday and I just can't believe it ended with that awful clffhanger! Did approve f that. If something happens to Triles I will never forgive Stefan Brogren! But I also want to give the new character Vijay Maraj (Dante Scott) some love! A new gay character who is ttally cute and fun! I am hoping for a romance for him for next season. But not with Miles. Or with Tristan. Been there done that. They were quite cute as long as it lasted (for about two seconds) but it didn't really work. They were just not Triles. Triles is my addiction right now. Makes me almost want to be a teenager again, but a male gay one this time!
